This is a online course Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course cater for:
- Subject Matter Experts or Process Owners who seek to deepen their understanding on Lean Six Sigma concepts and learn to apply them in specific business scenarios;
- Aspired professionals preparing for Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
It is a 15 hours online course broken into 5 sessions conducted over the course of 5 days, daily 2 – 5 pm (Malaysia time) .
At the end of the course, the participant would understand the detail Process Improvement lifecycle of Lean Six Sigma, from Define, Measure, Analyze, Improvement, to Control stage of DMAIC methodology. The participants would learn the key Lean Six Sigma concepts including Project Charter, Value-stream Mapping, Hypothesis Testing, Probability Distribution Analysis, Advanced Control Chart.
This is also a course for participants preparing for Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate as in the course the sample questions of The Council for Six Sigma Certification exam would be discussed.

DMAIC – Define
– Six Sigma Management at Corporate Level
– Six Sigma Project Team Structure
– Create team Roles and Responsibilities
– Create a Problem Statement
– Create a Project Charter
– Stakeholder Analysis
– Outcome expected after the Define stage

DMAIC – Measure
– FMEA (Failure Modes and Effect Analysis) concept
– Data collection methods
– Introduction to data sampling
– Sample Sizing
– Intermediate Graphical Analysis
– Use of Run chart for analysis
– Normal Probability Distributions
– Non-normal Probability Distribution
Note: Participants will work on exercises on assessing if the sample provided is normal distributed
Session 3 - Wednesday 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
DMAIC – Analyze
– Root cause analysis with Fishbone Diagram
– Value chain mapping with Value Stream map
– Process Mapping with Swimlane diagram
– 80/20 analysis with Pareto Diagram
– Statistical analysis with Box Plot
– Hypothesis Testing
– Correlation and Regression Analysis
Note: Participants will work on exercises on Fishbone Diagram and Swimlane Diagram
Session 4 - Thursday 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
DMAIC – Improve
– Process redesign principles
– Solution Selection Matrix
– Kaizen Action Plan
– Cost Benefit Analysis
– Risk Assessment
– Implementation Planning

DMAIC – Control
